All of our tutors work with children and adults across all ages and abilities both in schools across Cornwall and at our studios in Hayle. We have a wealth of music professionals in the academy and at schools at all times, that way you can have a lesson when and where you want.

We are proud that all our tutors have enhance disclosures, and between us we have a wealth of teaching experience from schools, colleges and universities.

Some of our staff have played with some of the biggest names in the industry including Basement Jaxx and of course, we teach in a professional educational environment using the best equipment and resources.

Every member of our teaching staff holds an enhanced disclosure background check and has taken the CPC child protection course to the required level.

Our tutors are friendly, fun, positive and full of energy. They have a real passion for what they do. Helping people learn is what makes our job so much fun.

Most of our teachers are professional session musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in the industry, We like to practice what we preach.

We teach everyday right into the evenings our lessons are at time that suit our students, not the other way around. Our students always come first.

Our lessons take place in a fully equipped, professional teaching academy or at schools throughout Cornwall.

We teach all ages and abilities, we have just as many adults as there are children. Everyone can learn, no matter what their age.

Our teaching method is modern, fresh and appealing to all. We cover the very best recognised graded syllabus around - ABRSM, Rockschool and Trinity. If grades aren’t your thing then we can create lessons based on your exact musical interests.

What it Costs!

Teaching at the Academy is available as an individual lesson priced at £72 for 5 thirty minute lessons whilst school lessons are priced at £72 per student per term for a group lesson or £135 per student per term for an individual lesson, both lasting 30 minutes.

Some of the schools we work in offer subsidies to families receiving working tax credits, disability benefits or free school meals. If you would like more information regarding this then please do not hesitate to contact us as tuition could be as little as £9.00 per term.
