Harry has worked his way through various musical institutions during his youth, studying popular music through to his  world contemporary Jazz degree. He has also completed his PGCE in secondary education.

Playing professionally for the last 9 years with many of the Country's finest musicians and performers from all over the world, from gig venues, tours, festivals, music videos and recording sessions.

As one of our teachers Harry likes to take a different approach to teaching and combine the actual reality of working in the music industry, with structured lessons catering to the individual on what he or she would like to be learning.

Harry believes that music should always be fun and an enjoyable learning experience whatever the age.

Hannah has joined our team having recently relocated back to Cornwall. Hannah has completed her BMus(hons) in Jazz and Contemporary Music majoring in Vocals and Composition.

Having studied music from a very young age she has developed a range of skills across several instruments. Here at Cornwall Music Academy Hannah will be covering Vocals, Violin and Piano whilst maintaining her position as a professional Jazz signer and Musical Director of a local choir.

Hannah covers all styles of music and teaches the full range of ABRSM and Rockschool grades maintaining a 100% pass rate.

What Hannah says -”I love teaching music to students of all ages and abilities. I tailor my lessons to suit the individual needs of each student, ensuring that lesson are always fun but with a clear structure”
We welcomed David to our team having moved to Cornwall, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge having spent many years as a head of music.

David's professional career has included playing keyboard in a number of west end shows to include “Rocky Horror Show”  as well as touring Ireland and Australia with well known band“Hot Chocolate”.

Teaching Clarinet, Saxophone and Piano across all ranges from Jazz, Rock, Pop and Classical he is able to teach both Classical and Jazz exam grades.

What David says - “I believe that students should be able to experience music with a structured approach, which enables inclusion for all students. It is important for students to listen to, perform and compose music in a variety of styles and genres, which will contribute toward a comprehensive musical knowledge.”
Anna is a very skilled, passionate and professional teacher, having completed a BA Hons Degree in Music she went on to complete a PGCE in Secondary Education.

Anna’s approach to teaching the Violin and Piano is calm and relaxed but with a clear progression and focus, she aims to help you gain the skills you need so that you can learn from every tune you hear.

Anna teaches the full range of ABRSM grades and also lets you learn the tunes you want to, this helps you develop your independence and confidence as a string player whilst achieving your goals.

What Anna says -”As a teacher I like to meet the individual needs of the student, this is in order to help each individual to progress at a pace that suits them”
Having qualified with a PGCE in Secondary Music Hilary now teaches Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Recorder and Piano here at CMA.

Hilary has a wealth of knowledge and is able to teach students of all ages and abilities. She often works with young children developing new ensembles and performance opportunities.

Hilary delivers structured lesson always with the element of fun whilst ensuring each student is continuing to develop their musical abilities. She is a very accomplished pianist and is able to accompany all of her students.

Hilary teaches the full range of ABRSM, Music Medals and Trinity Guildhall Grades alongside running choirs, ensembles and orchestras.
